Dr. Amna grew up in Queens, New York. She attended Barnard College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.
In college, Dr. Amna attended the Summer Medical and Dental Education Program at Rutgers University where she developed her passion for dentistry, along with her interest in providing care for an underserved community. After dental school, she moved to Brooklyn to complete her pediatric dental specialty residency at NYU Langone Hospital Family Health Center.
Dr. Amna loves that she gets to work with kids every day and is dedicated to making each dental visit a happy and positive experience for them. She enjoys talking to and listening to her patients and their families, and believes in providing them with the best care catered to their dental needs. Dr. Amna values prevention and education, focusing on familiarizing kids and their families with oral healthcare habits at an early age in a fun and nurturing environment.
Dr. Amna is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD).
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, discovering new places to eat, and exploring her city.
