Meet Dr. Ngobitak Williamson

Dr. Williamson grew up just outside of Boston, MA. She attended Brandeis University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Health: Science, Society, and Policy. In the summer after her freshman year of college, Dr. Williamson participated in the Summer Medical and Dental Education Program at Columbia University, which ignited her passions for education, public health, mentorship, and community outreach.

After graduating college, Dr. Williamson went on to attend dental school at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, she completed a dual degree program where she simultaneously earned her Master of Arts degree in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. Her diverse background in education and mentorship encouraged her to start her own nonprofit organization, Black Mentor Network.

After dental school, she completed a general practice residency at Harlem Hospital Center, followed by her pediatric dental specialty residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Williamson absolutely loves working with kids each and every day. She is especially dedicated to educating children and families on the importance of preventative care and building healthy habits. She enjoys listening to her patients and working with them to create positive and fun dental visits.

Dr. Williamson is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD).

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to new countries, and discovering amazing restaurants across New York City.
